Pamela George, an original women, was brutally murdered by cardinal clear nineteen year old university athletes is a prime example of racialized gendered violence. Although they committed murder, the two men were leniently convicted, being sentenced to six and a half years in prison (Wallis & Kwok, 2008). Razack argues that because Pamela George belonged to a space of prostitution and aboriginality, in which violence routinely occurs the enormity of what was done to her and her family remained largely unacknowledged (Wallis & Kowk, 2008).
The two White young men were constructed as respectable because they came from White privileged families and were university students, whereas Pamela George was a causal prostitute and a whiz mother. The social spaces and the social constructions of the victim and the accused manifested itself in the gores verdict, one that was based on racism (Wallis & Kwok, 2008).
Aboriginal peoples have been victimized by the colonization process, which further discriminates against Aboriginal women justifying violence against her (Wallis & Kwok, 2008).



The encounter between the white men and Pamela George was amply colonial-a making of the white, masculine self as dominant through practices of violence directed at a colonized women (Wallis & Kwok, 2008). The subordination of the White settlers towards Aboriginal peoples is continually in force in the treatment of Aboriginal peoples and the complicity of their actions. They did not view Pamela as a human being and entitled to the violence perpetrated towards her (Wallis & Kwok, 2008).
